A new simple three page static web site launched today, aimed at a local audience - www.art-classes-bath.co.uk may not immediately attract your attention as a 'shining example', if you are not seeking art classes that is. But take note - with a good 'key word' domain name, a holding page in place from the moment it was a 'gleam in the eye' with sound basic SEO content in place, and the site can already claim placement on Google, page 6 on launch day!

You have a new project, but your budget won't run to a bespoke design. This is a common predicament and the solution is right here. Many thousands of web sites built on every platform imaginable have an 'off the shelf' professionally created design layout template at their heart. Templates are often associated with the popular content management systems such as Joomla, Drupal, WordPress, Zen Cart and so forth, but can be just as useful in many other contexts including static HTML web development. The process is very straight forward so the design process for your project is not only saving on cost, but in the development cycle too. Simply put the process is - find a collection of templates, choose one which suits your purpose in both layout and 'look and feel', then have the template customized to render it unique to your project. That's it! A professional, unique, branded professional identity for your web site, intranet or presentation. Future Ideas Media Design has teamed up with one of the most prolific creators of templates on the planet to bring you a fantastic range of templates for almost all requirements, follow this link to see our..

The concept is to encourage browsing visitors to make a 'no committment' enquiry with the minimum of investment of effort. We are running a Google AdWords campaign on Joomla! development and it is hoped that resultant visitors will be encouraged to engage more pro actively.

Two new sites have been published by Future Ideas in as many weeks - Ecolo-g Renewable Energy is a Joomla! CMS based site, although just performing as a holding page at present while content is collated, it sports a really neat Flash animated header that will eventually also have links to key areas added. FMA-Supplies is an ecommerce site for Gryphon Martial Arts, importer of genuine Filipino hand made FMA weapons and training gear, this site is also based on the Joomla! CMS with a Virtuemart store and link to PayPal for payment processing.

Ann Christopher, sculptor, is in fact still working on more content for her web site, but has decided to launch now because the site is likely to be a 'work in progress' for some while yet. The site itself, in terms of navigation and page definition has been kept to an absolute minimum, to keep focus of attention on the content with minimum distraction. This is a really enjoyable site to work on, the subject matter really does 'speak for itself', and Ann is great to work with.

The intention is to use the blog as a 24 hour open help desk for customers and potential customers, so queries can be posted about your web site or general Internet topics as they arise. Maybe other users will have an answer, maybe strangers will get to know each other and exchange advice or business or whatever. I hope this develops in to a useful service. I will be keeping an eye on how it goes and will endeavour to answer queries as soon as I am able. You will need to have registered on the site to comment or write new entries. Enjoy! Hugh.
